How to make Kesari bath (Karnataka style)

Cooking time : 15 mins
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of small rava
- 1 cup of ghee
- 2 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of cashew nuts
- 1 table spoon of raisins
- 1/4 teaspoon of elachi
Method of cooking:
- Add 1 table spoon of ghee and small sized rava to a pan and fry it until the rava turns to light golden color. put the rava in to a bowl.
- Add 3 cups of water to the pan and wait until it starts to oil. Then add the fried rava and mix it well. You can add color (either orange or yellow) to the water if you want colored kesari bath.
- Then add 1 cup of ghee and 2 1/2 cup of sugar to it and stir it for 2 mins to make sure the mixture is well mixed.
- Add fried cashew nuts and raisins and elaichi at last and mix it well before serving.
