Kannappar book reference: Take the juice of Drumstick leaves 1 oz. with 5 corns of Pepper and 2 pinches of Cumin powders. Drink once a day. B.P. comes down gradually. CHOLESTEROL is also reduced. Continue for 20 days.

Chives stimulate the appetite and relieves high B.P.
Garlic helps reduce blood pressure and tension because of its power to ease the spasm of the small arteries. Garlic also slows the pulse, modifies the heart rhythm, besides relieving the symptoms of dizziness, numbness, shortness of breath and the formation of gas within the digestive tract. The average dosage should be two to three capsules a day to make a dent in the blood pressure. Both raw and cooked Garlic can lower blood pressure, although raw Garlic is thought to be more powerful.
Add lemon juice to buttermilk and drink.
Small Bittergourd has to be crushed, kept in a glass of water overnight; drink the water in the morning on empty stomach.
Peanut oil lowers blood pressure and blood cholesterol. The membrane contains even more effective ingredients.
Take dry Amlas and Jamun seeds in equal quantities. Powder. Take 1 tbsp. (mixed with water) in the morning on empty stomach.
Take Bel (Bilva) leaves’ juice with ghee daily.
Potato peel tea is good for High B.P.
Mix Fenugreek seeds and Dill seeds equally and powder. Take 2 spoonfuls in the morning and evening with fresh water.
Taking raw sliced Tomato with salt and Pepper sprinkled on it reduces the sugar content in blood. Taking Tomato salad, unripe Tomato and Tomato juice eliminates sugar content.
Boil 1 tsp. Jeera and 1 tsp. Coriander seeds (Coarse powders) in a glass of water. Reduce to half a glass, filter, cool, add diamond sugar or honey and drink in the mornings and evenings for a few days. THIS IS A VERY EFFECTIVE, TESTED REMEDY.
Take one tablespoon of Neem leaf juice twice a day.
To bring down high B.P., listen to the music tuned in Anandha Bhairavi Raga. Aahir Bhairav, Pooriya and Thodi are also good Ragas for bringing down B.P.
Passion fruit tree leaves are useful to reduce B.P.
Wheat grass juice reduces blood pressure and corrects blood chemistry.
Whey is also good.
Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves should be made into a paste and taken with curd or buttermilk as the first thing in the morning. It reduces B.P.
Cucumbers can be sued to correct high or low blood pressure because of their high Potassium content.
Cook Mulaikkeerai (Tamil) daily without Dal and Tamarind and eat twice a day. Salt and Garlic can be added for taste. If it is taken continuously for 5 days, there is a remarkable difference. Constipation and Nervous weakness can be cured with this. If it cools the body too much for a few patients, they can eat Araikkeerai instead of this. If this gives heat, cook it with black Pepper and eat. If it is still not acceptable, they can eat Agattikkeerai (Agase soppu in Kannada). All these greens can be used each for two days also.
Squeeze one lemon into a cup of buttermilk and drink daily for 8 days.
Cinnamon Tea helps to reduce B.P.
Onion juice contains the hormone Prostaglandin which helps lower pressure and also a cell cleaner. It is better if the Onions are taken with Garlic for the best effect.
Eat 5 small Sambar Onions in the mornings and evenings daily.
Don’t use Rosemary while having high B.P.
Don’t use Thyme.
Honey is a heart tonic. Acetycholine, present in Honey, increases the blood flow to the heart and thus decreases the blood pressure and the heart rate.
Cut White Lotus flowers into pieces, put them in a mud pot, add 4 glasses of water and boil. Reduce it to a glass and filter. Add Honey. Drink it.
Pineapple and green Tea are also good for B.P.
Alfalfa softens hard arteries. It is good for high B.P. and dysfunctions connected with the heart.
Mint tea is also good for hardened arteries. It is effective in heart palpitations also.
Grind Drumstick leaves and extract juice. Drink half an ounce half an hour before food weekly once. If needed, take the following week also.
THE TASTE OF BITTERNESS WILL BE LESS FOR HIGH B.P. PATIENTS. SO THEY SHOULD EAT MORE BITTER ITEMS.
