Acne and Wrinkles
ACNE
Peaches, Pineapple, Grapefruit, Grapes, Pears, Cucumber, Carrot, Apple and fruits and vegetables containing Niacin and Vitamins A and E are good for this problem.
A paste of Cinnamon should be prepared with few drops of fresh Lime juice. It can be applied.
Apply a turmeric and sandalwood powder paste externally using ½ tsp. of each. One may also take 1 tsp. of aloevera gel internally with ¼ tsp. turmeric 2 times per day until the acne clears.
RINGS UNDER EYES
Take the seeds of Chinese Cherries (Mutungia Glabura) 90 to 150 gms. Mash them. Apply. Wash when dry.
Powder Mustard seeds. Mix with Coconut oil and apply under the eyes for a few days.
Fresh Tomato juice, paste of raw Potato, Almonds, Turmeric and Lime juice, fresh Cucumber juice and Honey – all these things can be applied individually.
Take fresh Aloe gel and wash it 7 times with water. Tie it in a white cloth. Keep on your eyes and sleep. Do this weekly once.
MAKARA MUDRA
Place one hand inside the other. Extend the thumb of your lower hand through the little finger and ring finger of the other and place in the middle of the palm of your upper hand. This hand’s thumb and the tip of your ring finger touch each other. Do this three times a day for 4 to 10 minutes.
WRINKLES
Take ½ kg. Greengram flour, Poolan kizhangu (Tamil) 100 g., Rose buds 50 g., Kasthuri Turmeric 50 g., Mustard seeds 50 g. and Sampangi (Tamil) seeds 50 g. powder well. Apply all over the face and wash off.
Mash a ripe Banana and apply on the face. Leave for 30 minutes. Wash with warm water.
Soak Fenugrrek (Menthya) seeds in water, grind into a fine paste, boil with milk and apply at night. In the morning, wash off with warm water. Alternately, Fenugreek powder can be mixed with butter and applied on the face. Wash with warm water after 5 minutes.
Mix Lemon juice and Honey. Apply on the face. Don’t move any facial muscles for some time. Wash off with cold water when completely dry. Be careful to avoid your eyes.
Soak Poppy seeds in water and grind with milk. Apply on the face. When dry, wash off with warm water.
Apply whey water.
Chew Sesame seeds slowly to get enough Vitamin E to prevent wrinkles or eliminate them.
Mix 1 tsp. of Sesame seeds’ powder with ½ cup of Cucumber juice, a pinch of Turmeric powder and a pinch of Clove powder. Apply as long as necessary to get rid of stains, pimples and wrinkles.
