PLANTAIN BARK

AHIMSA SILK OUT OF PLANTAIN BARK FIBERS
We can weave silk out of Plantain fibers. The tree has 15 layers of barks. The top fiber is used to thread flowers. Remaining fibers are used to weave silk. From a single tree fiber, two sarees can be woven.
DRYING OF LEAVES
PREVENTION: Leave the pit to cool and dry for a week. Mix 100 g. Neem extract and 100 g. Gram extract and put it in the pit. Fill it with earthworm manure. Plant only plantain Kizhangu (Tamil) which weighs 3 kg to get healthy plants.
TO CURE DRYING LEAVES:
For around 1000 Plantain trees: Grind 2 kg. Harda, 2 kg.Licorice, 100 g. Calamus, 100 g. Dry Ginger and100 g. Ajwain (Omam in Tamil). Mix with 5 liters of insect repellent prepared out of Pongamia leaves. Leave for a day. Mix 5 liters PanchaGavya. Mix 2 liters of this strong mixture with 10 liters of water. Pour it to plantain plants once in 10 days. Do this for a month, i.e., thrice a month with a gap of 10 days.
SPECIALTY OF PLANTAIN LEAVES
Pongal should be eaten on this leaf. It removes the toxins from food.
Sarakkondrai Puliya Maram (Tamil) (Cassia Fistula) can be planted to prevent winds.
