Indian Dance

Here is a list and brief summary of Indian dance forms that are in practice in different parts of India. There are more than twenty such forms that India has been contributing to the dancing filed. Since India has many states and each state follows it’s own culture and traditional dance forms, India can be seen promoting varieties of dance forms. As an example, Yakshagana is a dance form practiced more in Karnataka, Bharatanatyam is a dance form of Tamil Nadu and so on. The attires vary from one dance form to another and are very attractive in it’s own ways.
