Plant Agathi seeds all around the border areas of a field. In between, Banana saplings can be planted. When Agathi grows to 10 feet and Bananas grow to 4 feet, plant whatever crops are to be planted in the field. Agathi and Bananas give a little sunlight and a little shade and a little heat for the crops. They also attract birds and so help in Bio diversity. It is equivalent to reduction of global warming and Green House effects.

Plant Agathi (Tamil) tree near Banana trees. Keep cutting Agathi branches and feeding cattle. When this tree is nearby, plantains give good yield. Agathi absorbs Nitrogen from atmosphere and stores it in its roots. No other plant can compete with it in this work. Any plant can be grown under Agathi with benefits. Gourds, Bittergourd and Snakegourd creepers can be grown with more yield under Agathi. Even Betel plant can be made to spread under Agathi.
