SAGE AGASTYA REMEDY FOR EYE PAIN
Boil 2 handfuls of Tamarind leaves with 2 litres of cow milk. When it thickens, put into a thin cloth and give fomentation on eyes.

Boil about half kilo water with a pinchful of Alum and ½ tsp of Turmeric powder. Cool. Drench a piece of cloth in this water and put it over it.

Tie Cassia Fistula (Sarakkondrai in Tamil) leaves on eyelids while sleeping at night.
Grind Ponnaanganni leaves into a fine paste and spread it on a water filled mud pot at night. Tie it on eyes the next day.
Take the entire Keezhanelli plant, extract juice and take daily.
TO RESTORE EYESIGHT
Pliny felt that the Emerald was the singular most delightful gem for the eyes to behold. He stated that when one’s eyes became fatigued, just looking at an Emerald would relieve them.
Look at the green Neem tree for half an hour both in the mornings and evenings.
The chemicals Lutein and Indoles are in Green coloured vegetables. They help in good eyesight. Green leaves, Green Apple, Green Beans, Green Grapes, Green Lemon and Bottlegourd come under this category.
Eat plenty of Palak (Spinach).
Eat red coloured Bananas whenever available.
