Chhattisgarh is a state in central India, formed when the 16 Chhattisgarhi-speaking southeastern districts of Madhya Pradesh gained statehood on 1st November 2000.

Chhattisgarh covered with nature’s canopy of sal, teak and bamboo trees, and carpeted with lush vegetation. It’s got a bio-diversity hot spot, 3 National Parks and 10 Wildlife Sanctuaries. Its people revere the land – for them, each day is a celebration of life, in which you are welcome to participate. Welcome to Chhattisgarh, the land that’s full of surprises. One-third of our state population is tribal, and their traditional art facts made of bell metal castings (dokra) make wonderful additions to your living or work space. Tribal medicine pre-dates Ayurveda, India’s ancient healing science, and combined with the 90+ species of medicinal plants in our forests, could well be the next big thing in natural cures.
