Indian Independence was not a win of one or two people who fought all the odds to get Independence to India. There are so many people who directly and indirectly went against British for their freedom. India, before foreigners took over the nation, has seen many successful and brave rulers who ruled several part of India. It was in 1757 that East India Company started to take India under it’s control and ruled India until Britishers came into the picture in 1857. Britishers ruled India for nearly 90 years after which they have to go back to their country owing to the strong response toward the Indian Independence movement in the year 1947. During this period, India has seen many fighters who sacrificed their lives for country’s independence. Below are the list of few names who were involved in the movement asking for independence.
