Ingredients:-

Tomato 1kg
oil 4 tbl sp
mustard 1 tbl sp
channa dal 1 tbl sp
urad dal 1tbl sp
jeera 1 tbl sp
hingu 1/4 sp
turmeric 1/4 spoon
Curry leaves 2 bunch
red chilli powder 2 tbl sp
salt to taste.

Method:-

Wash tomatoes n grind to smooth paste without adding water. sieve n keep the juice ready.

   

Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard, channa dal, urad dal, jeera , hingu, turmeric, curry leaves, fry for a minute add chilli powder tomato juice n salt, bring to a boil, close kadai with a plate n cook in low flame stirring in between for 8 to 10 minutes. when the mixture comes to chutney consistency turn off flame.

Yummy tomato thokku is ready.

U can keep this thokku outside for 1 to 2 days, refrigerated for 8 to 10 days.

U can take out required quantity reheat n use. Ideal with chapathi, dosa n rice. U can take this thokku for 1 r 2 days trips also. Hope u like this recipe.
