IRON DEFICIENCY IN PREGNANCY

  • Taking Tomatoes regularly with Saindava Lavana (Rocksalt) or Jaggary sprinkled on it diminishes the problem.
  • Grape juice or Raisins should be used often.
  • Amaranth’s juice with Honey and a pinch of Cardamom regularly in pregnancy helps the growth of the child and prevents depletion of body’s reserves of Calcium and Iron and it also relaxes the Uterine muscles.
  • Take plenty of greens.
  • Take Beetroot often as it contains Beta – carotin.
  • Eat Betel leaves daily.
