EXCESSIVE HEAT

Sandal sherbat should be taken.

Method of preparation:

Soak fine powder of Sandalwood in Rosewater for 24 hours.  Then boil this mixture on a low fire and filter.  Add equal quantity of sugar (Khadisakkar).  Prepare a syrup.  Cool.  Store.  Drink 10g. at a time in the mornings and evenings for the cooling effect.  

INSOMNIA

Buffalo”s milk can be given.

IMPROVING THE MEMORY OF FOETUS

  • Soak 10 Almonds in room temperature water overnight.  Make paste on a slightly rough stone with a few drops of water and eat.  Almonds aid in the development of the brain.
  • In the first trimester, take Jyeshthamad regularly for the improvement of the foetus’ complexion, hair, voice and intelligence.
  • A decoction of the Cummin seeds mixed with milk and honey, used once daily during the entire period of pregnancy helps the development of the baby and eases child-birth.  It also increases the secretion of breast milk.
  • Ashwagandha is a good food for weak pregnant women.  It helps to stabilize the fetus.  

BLUE AND PREGNANCY

  • A pregnant lady is drawn to Blue.  It expels fears.  It is said that a fetus can see Blue in the womb.
  • HIGH B.P. & PROTEIN LOSS THROUGH URINE
  • Garlic can reduce the risk.

MUSIC THERAPY

Listening to Classical music is very good for the growth of the fetus.  Those who are premature, experience more rapid weight gain and hospital discharge than their peers who are not exposed to music.  They also have improved cognitive function.
