EDGAR CAYCE’S REMEDY FOR ASCITES

Watermelon-seed tea, made from dried, crushed water-melon seeds, which is a diuretic source, helps in removing toxins from the system, removes water accumulations in the abdomen, reduces kidney and bladder inflammation, aids in relieving disturbances in the ovaries and helps avoid kidney problems from strain during pregnancy and following birth.

Method:  Add one tsp. of dried, crushed seeds to a pint of boiling water and then steep for about 15 minutes.  Take it once a week or more frequently but it should be made fresh every time.

JAL SURABHI MUDRA

The little finger of your left hand touches the ring finger of your right hand.  The little finger of your right hand touches the ring finger of your left hand.  At the same time, the middle fingers of both hands touch the index fingers of the other.  The thumbs remain extended.  Now touch the root of the left small finger by the tip of the left thumb and similarly the root of the right small finger by the tip of the right thumb.

This Mudra eliminates all diseases related to bile.  It helps cure and eliminate diseases related to urine and assists in easy passage of urine.  It helps to increase the appetite and helps remove constipation.

APAN MUDRA (energy Mudra)

With each hand: Place the thumb, middle finger and ring finger together – extend the other fingers.

When needed, do for 5 to 45 minutes or use three times a day for 15 minutes as a course of treatment.

This Mudra purifies the body.  So, it can be done with any Mudra to enhance its effects.  It helps to remove all foreign, as well as unwanted fluids, from the body.  It eases secretion of any excreta from the body.  This also helps in the free passage of urine.  It helps produce sweat to clear the skin pores, where sweating should occur but doesn’t.
