Byadagi Chilli chicken

Serves 3-4


  • Chicken-1/2 kg
  • Guntur chilli-10
  • Bydagi chilli-10
  • Coconut (grated)-1 table spoon
  • Coriander seeds-1 table spoon
  • Onion(chopped)-1
  • Ginger-Garlic paste-1 table spoon
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
  • Salt-1 1/2 tea spoon
  • Oil-7-8 table spoon
  • Curry leaves 15

Method of Cooking

In a pan, dry roast Guntur chilli, byadagi chilli, coriander seeds. Grind the roasted Guntur chilli, byadagi chilli, coriander seeds with grated coconut. Take oil in a frying pan, add onion, ginger garlic paste and fry till onion turns golden brown. Add chicken, turmeric powder, 1 tea spoon salt and give a stir. Add 100 ml water and let the chicken cook. After chicken is half cooked, add prepared powder and salt (according to your taste) and cook for about 10 minutes.


In a pan, heat 1 spoon of oil, add curry leaves and fry them. Add this tempering on to the prepared chicken.
